Two people were hospitalized after a head-on crash at Devil's Slide that closed state Highway 1 in both directions this afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash, which involved a southbound Ford Focus and a northbound van, was reported around 1:25 p.m., CHP Officer Tony Tam said.
The driver of the van, a 38-year-old Daly City man, was taken by helicopter to Stanford Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, Tam said.

The driver of the Ford, a female, was taken to San Francisco General Hospital by ambulance with moderate injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Tam said.

The roadway reopened in both directions at 2:46 p.m.
