VIDEO: Meet Half Moon Bay's Top Cop

Part I of interview with Lt. Lisa Williams, head of the Half Moon Bay police substation.

Peninsula native and El Granada resident Lt. Lisa Williams took over from former as the city's top cop when Half Moon Bay to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office on June 12.

The lieutenant leads a force of six sheriff's deputies — three who have been working in the Half Moon Bay department and three who were transferred in from the Sheriff's Office.

Half Moon Bay Patch sat down with Lt. Williams on Wednesday to talk about her law enforcement background, her priorities in this new position, and on specific law enforcement issues.
