Woman on Meth Threatens to Kill People, Teens Caught Toilet Papering Half Moon Bay House

Here's what went down in Half Moon Bay last weekend.

Friday, Jan. 17

0-100 block of Fairway, Half Moon Bay - Information report - Deputies dispatched to welfare check, when a woman reported her husband left home during an argument and hadn’t returned. The man was located at a local hotel and advised he was fine, stating he left the house to “cool off”

N. Cabrillo at Coronado, El Granada - Drive with suspended license - A 24 year old driver from San Francisco was cited for driving with a suspended license.

0-100 block of Ave Alhambra, El Granada - Possession controlled substance/Controlled substance paraphernalia - Deputies dispatched to welfare check of a 26 year old female from Cupertino reported to be walking around El Granada, threatening to kill people. The woman was contacted and was found in possession of methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia, and admitted to using the drug earlier that day. She was arrested and transported to SM County Jail.

Lower Lakes Highway 35 Unincorporated - DUI - Deputies dispatched to report of possible DUI driver, and located the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was observed crossing over the double yellow lines and swerving into the oncoming lane. The Deputy performed a traffic stop and found the driver appeared to be intoxicated. He failed field sobriety tests and transported to First Chance.

900 block of Palma, El Granada - Public intoxication/Released from custody - Deputies dispatched to report of suspicious person banging on the door of a residence. The 27 year old subject from Montara was contacted and determined to be at the wrong house, and too intoxicated to care for himself. He was arrested and transported to SM County Jail, to be released when sober.

0-100 block of N. Cabrillo, Half Moon Bay - Probation violation - Deputy on patrol observed a 63 year old transient known to be on probation and prohibited from entering the shopping center according to the terms of his probation. The Deputy made contact with the subject at the shopping center. The suspect stated he could go where he wanted, and denied being on probation. He was arrested at the direction of his probation officer, and transported to SM County Jail.

Kelly @ Pilarcitos, Half Moon Bay - Drive with suspended license/Possession hypodermic needle -  A 22 year old from Napa was cited for driving with a suspended license. Deputies towing the vehicle located a hypodermic needle within the vehicle. The driver was cited and released on his promise to appear.

Main St @ Lewis Foster Drive, Half Moon Bay - Misdemeanor warrant - Deputy on patrol observed a male and female involved in a verbal altercation and made contact. The 24 year old male subject from Oakland was found to be wanted on a misdemeanor warrant out of Alameda County. He was cited and released on his promise to appear.

2100 block of St. Andrews, Half Moon Bay - Information report - Deputies dispatched to report of house being “TP’d” by two subjects. The reporting party said he went outside to confront the two, and stated that when he approached their vehicle, he struck the front window with his palm. The driver then backed his vehicle away and fled the scene. The reporting party provided the license plate number and the two subjects, a 21 year-old male and his 17 year-old girlfriend, were contacted at their nearby residence. They admitted to the incident, and also advised that while driving away they struck a mailbox. The two were escorted back to the residence where they apologized to the homeowner, and agreed to clean the mess and repair the mailbox.

Sunday, Jan. 19

200 block of S. Cabrillo, Half Moon Bay - Public intoxication/Released from custody - Deputy dispatched to report of 25 year old subject from San Francisco loitering in a hotel lobby, who was not a hotel guest. The man was contacted and determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself. He as arrested and transported to SM County Jail, to be released when sober.

Cabrillo Hwy at Pescadero Creek Rd., Pescadero - Drive with suspended license/Petty theft - Deputy on patrol performed traffic stop on a 57 year old man from Mountain View believed to have just siphoned gasoline from a parked vehicle. The subject was found to be driving with a suspended license and admitted to taking the gas. He was cited and released on his promise to appear in court.

Monday, Jan. 20

400 block of Casa Del Mar, Half Moon Bay - Public intoxication/Released from custody - Deputy dispatched to family disturbance, where one of the subjects, a 48 year old, was determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself. He was arrested and transported to SM County Jail, to be released when sober.

800 block of Airport, Moss Beach - Grand theft - Deputy took report of the theft of a bicycle from the back of a pickup truck. The bike was valued at $1,400.
