Great California ShakeOut

The 2010 Great California ShakeOut is occuring statewide on October 21st at 10:21 a.m.  More than 6.9 million Californians participated last year, practicing Drop, Cover and Hold and other family, school and organizational emergency planning. 

For 2010, Californians are also encouraged to "Secure Your Space" to reduce potential damage and injuries. ShakeOut has an interactive menu you can use to find out what organizations in your area are doing for effective earthquake preparedness.
