Public Hearing: Adjusting Supervisorial District Boundaries

San Mateo County Board of Supervisors will host a public hearing to discuss adjusting supervisorial district boundaries.

The hearing is held as the California Election Code requires supervisorial boundary adjustments after every federal census, which happens each decade. Districts must adjust so populations in each are equal. The latest census happened last year.

The board is scheduled to approve boundary adjustments at its Sept. 13 meeting.
