Council To Approve Budget Cuts Next Month

City Council will vote on approving proposed budget, capital improvement plans on June 21.

The Half Moon Bay City Council received next year's proposed budget and two, long-term capital improvement plans on Wednesday, and both could be approved next month. (See attached document in media box.)

City manager Laura Snideman on Wednesday praised council members for the time they spent on making decisions throughout the budget process over the last five months "so staff can keep the process moving forward," she said. Snideman also praised Jan Cooke, Finance Manager and City Treasurer, for her work in the process.

The City Council will review these documents again for approval at their June 21 meeting. Residents with questions or concerns on these documents should feel free to contact Mayor Naomi Patridge, City Council members or Jan Cooke (jcooke@hmbcity.com). Contact information for the mayor and council members can be found at the city's website here.
