Lawn Sign Stealing: Are You a Victim?

Have you had a political lawn sign taken from your yard or a neighbor's property?

This election season, residents have noticed political campaign signs removed from their yards or missing from street corners, some even reporting the theft to police.

A bunch of campaign signs for Cabrillo Unified School District board, Prop 37 and Obama, posted on the corner of Coronado and Santiago streets in El Granada, suddenly vanished this week.

A Montara resident last month called police after noticing that six political signs were stolen from the front lawn of their George Street residence.

The Keep Cal Fire campaign also reported signs missing as far back as August when two of three signs posted in Moss Beach and El Granada disappeared.
