New Details in Maui Homicide of Deputy City Attorney
Court documents reveal new details about what led to the death of Celestial Cassman, who served as a deputy city attorney for Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz and Capitola.
Celestial Cassman, a 35-year-old deputy city attorney for Capitola, Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay .
Gerald Galaway, 38, whom friends have identified as her ex-boyfriend, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the killing, according to Hawaii News Now.
Cassman, a UC Santa Cruz graduate, was an attorney in the Santa Cruz law firm of Atchison, Barisone, Condotti and Kovacevich, the same law firm of Half Moon Bay City Attorney Tony Condotti. She also served on the board of directors for CASA. is a Watsonville-based nonprofit that provides support to youth in the court system.
