Watch a video of Tuesday's swearing-in ceremony of Half Moon Bay police officers as San Mateo County Sheriff's deputies, along with the traditional badge pinning by family and friends.

Tuesday's ceremony at the Old Redwood City Courthouse marked the final step in the transition for sergeants, officers and police department staff. The department was to the Sheriff's Office on June 12, 2011 as a cost-saving measure for the city.
