VIDEO: Meet Half Moon Bay's Top Cop - Part II

Meet Lt. Lisa Williams, law enforcement veteran with the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Williams leads the force of six officers who patrol the city of Half Moon Bay.

On June 12, took over from as the head of law enforcement for Half Moon Bay when the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office commenced their with the city for law enforcement services.

Half Moon Bay Patch sat down with Lt. Williams on Wednesday to learn more about her background, priorities, and approach to law enforcement services. of her video interview was published on Thursday.

Williams responds to questions about what she would like to bring to law enforcement in Half Moon Bay, community concerns about a reduced number of officers on patrol in the city under the Sheriff's Office contract, how she plans to continue the model of community policing, and the status of finishing up the transition between the former Half Moon Bay Police Department and the Sheriff's Office.
