Who Will Win County Supervisor?

Today's election includes seven candidates campaigning to represent residents at the county level.

After 16 years of service to San Mateo County, Supervisor Rose Jacobs-Gibson is leaving her District 4 seat, which encompasses Redwood City, Menlo Park and East Palo Alto.

The County Supervisor is one of five members who make the ultimate decisions regarding county issues like the budget and health and social services. Though the supervisor will represent District 4, all residents of the county can vote on who will hold the office.

The race initially had eight candidates vying for the seat, but David Woods exited the race after failing to provide the necessary funds.

Then there were seven. Click on the links to read their Q&As that they provided to Patch.
