Back to School Dates for Cabrillo Schools

Just a few more weeks, and it’s back-to-school time for Cabrillo Unified School District students.

Before scheduling that last-minute vacation, check these important dates below. There are some school events you’ll not want to miss, including fundraisers, PTO gatherings as well as back to school nights, postings of new class lists, important immunizations required before attending school, orientations and registrations scheduled on the days leading up to the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 27.

Now here's what you need to know when it comes to back to school dates:

Farallone View Elementary School

• New class lists post on Friday, Aug. 24

• School starts on Monday, Aug. 27 at 8:30 a.m.

• Kindergarten back to school night is on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 6:30 p.m.

• Back to School night K/1-5 in classrooms at 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Hatch Elementary School

• New class lists post on office windows on Friday, Aug. 24 at 4 p.m.

• Welcome Back Social by PTO on Friday, Aug. 24 at 4-6 p.m.

• School starts Monday, Aug. 27 at 7:50 a.m.

• Kindergarten Back to School Night in classrooms on Monday, Aug. 27 at 6:30 p.m.

• Back to School Night for 1-5 grades on Thursday, Sept. 6 in Multipurpose Room and classrooms at 6:45-7:50 p.m.

Kings Mountain Elementary School

• Kings Mountain Cookie Bake at Wedemeyer Bakery, South San Francisco, on Saturday, Aug. 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Volunteers needed to bake 3,800 cookies to sell at Art Fair over Labor Day weekend, raising funds for the school.

• School starts on Monday, Aug. 27 at 7:45 a.m.

• Back to School night Thursday, Aug. 30 for K-5 in classrooms at 6:30 to 8 p.m.

• Kings Mountain Elementary School Cookie Sales at Kings Mountain Art Fair, Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 1-3.

El Granada Elementary School

• School starts on Monday, Aug. 27 at 8:05 a.m.

• Kindergarten Meet & Greet on Friday, Aug. 24, 2 to 3 p.m.

• Kindergarten class lists go up on Friday, Aug. 24 at 1:45 p.m.

• Grades 1-5 class lists go up on Friday, Aug. 24 at 4 p.m.

• Information tables about the PTO on Friday, Aug. 24 from 3 to 5 p.m.

• Kindergarten back to school night is on Monday, Aug. 27 at 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

• Back to school night for grades 1-5 is on Wed., Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Cunha Intermediate School

• School starts on Monday, Aug. 27 at 8:25 a.m.

• Registration in the Cunha Gym on Aug. 23-24 at 7:45 to 3 p.m.

• 6th grade orientation on Aug. 23 at 10 a.m.

• Reminder to all parents of incoming 7th grade students that the Tdap immunization for whooping cough is required to attend school. Please plan ahead and get this taken care of before Monday, Aug. 27.

• Back to school night on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 7 to 8:30 p.m.

 Half Moon Bay High School

• School starts on Aug. 27 at 7:45 a.m.

• Freshman Orientation on Aug. 16 at 9 a.m. - parents and students (print and pre-fill forms to expedite)

• Registration grades 10-12 on Aug. 20 or 21 at 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in gym (print and pre-fill forms to expedite).

• Back to school night on Wed. Sept. 12 at 6:30 to 8 p.m.
