Local Teachers, Students to Benefit from Network@Night

School supply drive to augment networking event hosted by HMB Coastside Chamber of Commerce.

Local teachers and students will benefit from this Thursday's Education Network@Night event hosted by the .

Those who attend have been asked to bring a donation of school supplies as well as crisp $100 bills for a special raffle. Winning teachers will be able to spend the amount they wish on their classrooms.

Teachers at the event will be able to take home the school supplies donated throughout the evening.

"There will also be a few surprises for the teachers," Half Moon Bay Coastside Chamber of Commerce CEO Charise Hale McHugh said on Tuesday.

Though Education Network@Night is held just once a year, the Chamber's regular Network@Night event is held multiple times throughout the year.

Education Network@Night will be held this Thu., Feb. 16, at restaurant in El Granada from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m (10151 N. Cabrillo Highway).
