Wine on the Mountain to Benefit Kings Mountain Elementary

Fundraiser to benefit smallest school in Cabrillo Unified School District.

Kings Mountain Elementary School — the smallest school in the — is holding its annual wine tasting on March 5 at the Mountain House Restaurant. This event is known for having a wide selection from excellent wineries, including Woodside Vineyard, Fogarty Winery, Michael Martella, Bliss Family, Alexia Moore Wine Marketing, Domenico, and more.

This year there will be a Hawaiian theme to the evening, with leis being handed out at the door to those in Hawaiian attire. And there will be live music by singer/songwriter Eric Maskol, who will be playing solo with his acoustic guitar.

Hors d'oeuvres with an island twist will be served, along with Devil’s Canyon beer and a tropical cocktail. There will be a silent auction featuring selected wines from exclusive private collections, a spa basket, a barbeque basket, a movie night basket, Klutz toys, and much more.

All members of the community are welcome, and families considering enrolling at Kings Mountain School are particularly encouraged to come for a fun introduction to the school community.

The fire chief is hosting a free juice tasting at the Kings Mountain Fire House and Community Center across the street from the Mountain House. The chief's staff of helpers will provide fun activities and light snacks. Children should be served dinner before being dropped off, since a full dinner will not be provided.

All proceeds benefit the Kings Mountain Elementary School. Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the Kings Mountain School office, located at 211 Swett Road in Woodside, or online at: http://tiny.cc/w39j2
