Half Moon Bay Senior Games a Real Ringer

A Sport Long Enjoyed By Participants Of All Ages Brings Out The Best In Half Moon Bay

The California Senior Games Horseshoe Championships recently were held at Smith Field in Half Moon Bay. About 20 throwers were there to compete. 

Competition was open to seniors in several age and gender divisions.  The top finishers in each category received awards.  We list the winners below.

The Senior Games are meant to promote a healthy and active lifestyle for adults over the age of 50. Their goal is to provide an atmosphere for seniors who still want to compete in a sport along with others their age.
