Hungry festivalgoers can eat food from on-site vendors or Crab Landing, or patronize any of the many businesses surrounding the festival grounds and Princeton Harbor.

Those who attend will have opportunities to meet Mavericks surfers, take photographs and get autographs, according to Mavericks Invitational spokeswoman Jessica Banks.

The Mavericks Festival takes place from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Mar. 31 on the grounds of the Oceano Hotel (west of Capistrano and Highway 1). Parking is $10 at the off Highway 1 further north. Tickets will be sold at the gate for $40.
