Bay Area Man Top Dog in Hot Dog Eating Contest

San Jose's Joey Chestnut ate 68 hot dogs - with buns - in 10 minutes to win the national contest for the sixth year in a row. Tums not included.

Once again, San Jose resident Joey Chestnut has trumped his
competitors in an annual Fourth of July eating contest by consuming 68 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes, contest organizers said.

Chestnut, 28, beat the other two top eaters by a comfortable margin. Second-place finisher Tim Janus of New York City managed to stuff down 52 hot dogs, and Patrick Bertoletti of Chicago, Ill. ate 51.
