Pillar Point Harbor On Tour Des Fleurs
The Tour Des Fleurs wasn't all about flowers. Some participants learned about commercial fishing out of Pillar Point Harbor.
Fresh fish and lots of sunshine was the order of the morning for the Tour des Fleurs visit to Pillar Point Harbor on Saturday July 21st .
Harbor District Commissioner Will Holsinger, Harbor District General Manager Peter Grenell and Harbor Master Scott Grindy were actively involved providing fishing history of Pillar Point Harbor, information on fishing seasons and demonstrating where to find the freshly caught fish for sale.
Commercial Fisherman Jim Anderson also spoke from his fishing boat all about the freshness of fish from the harbor and interesting facts about fishing in our coastal area.
