Installation of Ocean View Play Structure Begins
Volunteers needed this weekend to help in the final stage of installation.
The Coastside Mother's Club is looking for community members to volunteer this weekend during the last phase of installing a replacement play structure at Half Moon Bay's , club leaders Kristen O'Brien and Hope Atmore said recently.
Installing the play structure caps the end of Operation Ocean View, a seven-month campaign spearheaded by the Half Moon Bay Rotary Club and Coastside Mother's Club to replace the play structure in February.
The fundraising arm of the campaign met its goal of raising $65,000 after five months through a combination of funding from individuals, foundation grants, and a .

While installation of the replacement play structure at the Alsace Lorraine neighborhood park begins today with heavy machinery work, according to Atmore, the community will put the rest of the pieces together from Sept. 24 - 25.
