Meal Solution Mondays at New Leaf

Join New Leaf Community Market for Meal Solution Monday to sample a simple recipe they've made. They'll give recipe tips, serving suggestions and answer any other cooking questions you may have. It's free from 4 to 6 p.m.

Wednesday
Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council

The public is invited to the Gulf of Farallones & Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuaries Joint Advisory Council meeting at the Half Moon Bay Yacht Club. Hear from the Agriculture Water Quality Alliance and the Superintendent's Report and learn about Ships Strikes and Whales, the Tomales Bay Vessel Management Plan and activities in the Northern Management Area such as the Harbor Seal Census, Seabird Protection Network and the Rocky Shore Stewardship Project.

US Immigration Information Seminar

This session at the Half Moon Bay Library will help permanent residents and others interested in naturalization find out about naturalization eligibility, testing, and citizenship rights and responsibilities. Each session is free of charge and open to the public. Two bilingual Spanish USCIS staff will conduct this naturalization information program.

Hop Dogma Brewing Co. is Open

It all started when Dan Littlefield and Ethan Martini started out brewing 5-gallon all grain batches together. Now they’re brewing 5 barrels behind their new tasting room location in El Granada. Hop Dogma Brewing serves up cold and flavorful handcrafted beer. If you like beer and you haven’t been yet, well what you are waiting for? The nano brewery is open from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at their location on Avenue Portola. It’s also open on Friday through Sunday. Check here for hours.
