Tuesday

Help the Victims of Typhoon Haiyan

In keeping with their philosophy of giving back and helping those in need, the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company is hosting a Pampered by the Chef Night with complimentary bites prepared by Chef Gaston Alfaro. On the menu: Lumpia, Adobo Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and Pancit Canton. A donation box will be available or please see a bartender, server, or manager to make your donation. Buy a raffle ticket for $5 each or 5 for $20 and enter a chance to win a fantastic gift basket-100% will go to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

Wednesday Wenie Night at Nano's Yogurt Shack

Every Wednesday night take the  kids out for Happy hour 6 to 8 p.m. at Nano’s Yogurt Shack on Main Street. Buy one Casper's Hot dog and Get one Casper's Hot dog free.

In addition to the regular menu that will be available on Thanksgiving, there will also be classic holiday specials. Open at 10:00 am with full menu available all day and the last seating at 5:00 pm. Reservations strongly encourage by calling (650) 728-2739.  The traditional Thanksgiving dinner is $20.50 for adults, and $11.50 for children under 12, excluding tax and gratuity.

Silicon Valley Turkey Trot

The Ninth Annual Turkey Trot includes a 5k walk and run, 10k run and a kid's fun run for the general public benefitting Housing Trust Silicon Valley and other local organizations.

Holiday Traditions at Filoli—Ice Fantasy

Filoli is transformed 
into a unique, magical showcase with a holiday atmosphere

that delights and inspires each guest to enjoy stunning decorations, festive music and exceptional Holiday merchandise for a nine-day fundraising event that opens Friday night. With this year’s theme, Ice Fantasy, numerous local choral and performing groups and Bay Area musicians’ music will add to the ambiance with buffet lunches and evening bistro dining available at select times during the week with advance reservations.

Coastal Rep's Winter Wonderettes

Coastal Repertory Theatre launched its 2013-2014 “Season of Love” with Winter Wonderettes, Roger Bean’s off-Broadway holiday musical sequel to his hit, The Marvelous Wonderettes. The four-person show takes place six months after the ten-year reunion finale of The Marvelous Wonderettes. Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2pm. (No show on Friday, November 29).

Saturday

Small Business Saturday on Main Street

Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses nationwide. For the past three years, Half Moon Bay's Main Street merchants having been participating in the day that American Express designated in 2010 as Small Business Saturday. American Express card members get rewarded for shopping small on Small Business Saturday with a $10 credit when you spend $10 or more at a participating small business, using your registered American Express card. There are deals to be had on Main Street in Half Moon Bay for Small Business Saturday with sales, raffles and discounted items at some of the stores. 

Sunday

32nd Annual Classical Piano Fest

For 32 years Mack McCray has brought outstanding talent and also performed at the annual Classical Piano Fest at the Douglas Beach House Home of the Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society. This year he is most pleased to perform along side South Korean pianist Yoonie Han and another pianist to be announced.Han is praised for her “flowing tones, poetic phrasing, and heavenly singing melodies.”
