Your weekend guide to all things holiday and more in Half Moon Bay!

All Weekend

Coastal Rep's Winter Wonderettes

Coastal Repertory Theatre launches its 2013-2014 “Season of Love” with Winter Wonderettes, Roger Bean’s off-Broadway holiday musical sequel to his hit, The Marvelous Wonderettes. The four-person show takes place six months after the ten-year reunion finale of The Marvelous Wonderettes. It’s winter 1968 and time for the annual Harper's Hardware company Christmas party. Model employee Betty Jean (Phaedra Johnson) takes charge of the festivities, bringing in her Wonderettes to entertain when Santa fails to arrive: Missy (Beth Guido), Cindy Lou (Courtney Hatcher) and Suzy (Kimberly Krol). The talented and zany Wonderettes will have you laughing and singing along as they catch up on their lives while waiting for Santa.  But when disaster strikes, they’ll use all their charm and talent to ultimately save the night. Runs through Dec. 21. Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2pm.
