Arata Pumpkin Farm is much more than just a pumpkin farm. In fact, with a haunted house, petting zoo, sword fighters, train ride and 2 1/2-acre hay maze, one might say pumpkins seem to take the back seat here. The family-owned farm has been around since 1932 and began making yearly hay mazes in 1997 (and they have only gotten better and more complex since). The farm is open seasonally from June until November. In October, pumpkins are sold and movie nights are offered in the hay coliseum. Arata Pumpkin Farm will also host your private event.

This is a perfect place for weddings, parties or perhaps buying a freshly grown local pumpkin. It is located six miles south of central Half Moon Bay just off of Highway 1.
