Peet's Coffee & Tea

<p>Just before Peet's Coffee & Tea opened this location in 2007, there were a lot of picketing and petitions to keep the previous independent coffeehouse here. The protests were unsuccessful, but judging by how many people hang out here, it seems all has been forgiven.</p> <p>Peet's in Half Moon Bay has a community feel with chatty customers, a friendly staff and plenty of tables both inside and out. The store sells packages of tea and dark-roasted coffee from around the world. The shop also serves a full selection of tea, pastries and hot and cold coffee drinks.</p>
