It's a great article and it's so nice to read about a high school arts program still up and runningRead More and thriving! Arts once flourished in California public schools ... before more than $20 billion dollars were cut out of our California schools. Now many schools don’t require the arts as part of a quality education. How wonderful for the students that representatives from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco attended as well!

I disagree that students should fight the intruder at their school. They should leave it to theRead More teachers. Though I do respect that they help the student at their school.

I know what goes into the process of compiling these books, after completeing the Arcadia book onRead More Moss Beach that June Morrall was writing. I had to go out & re-interview many of the subjects, in addition to our taking all of the current photographs for the book, and then wrote the eplilogue. Not as easy as it sounds!
