Students learn five styles of martial art - taekwondo, kendo, jui jitsu, kung fu and acrobatics - and in the process come to understand what works best for them. Most students attend two classes per week and there are car pools set up to help students get to classes after school. In addition, Kuk Sool Won is a home school vendor and is supportive of the home school program on the coast. As students develop their martial art skills they work towards various ranking levels and usually attain a black belt ranking within about three years. An especially fun option are the birthday parties that can be scheduled. The birthday child and guests all receive a martial arts lesson, enjoy structured play, feast on pizza and birthday cake and the birthday child receives a free uniform as a souvenir of the occasion.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
