It is run out of a residential home that offers transitional housing for one family at a time.</p> <p>Catholic Worker gives away produce donated by Portero Nuevo Farm and New Leaf Market on Tuesday mornings. Rice and beans are also available to take home. Diapers are sometimes available as well. Families are allowed one bag each.</p> <p>The organization also co-sponsors a community breakfast on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Coastside Lutheran Evangelical Church. Anyone is welcome to attend the breakfast. Kelly Avenue Catholic Worker also maintains a community garden at Coastside Lutheran.</p> <p>Because there are only two people on staff, the organization welcomes individual volunteers and donations to help support their programs. While the services in Spanish are held only on the weekends, services in English take place seven days a week. In addition to its religious education, choir and youth programs, the church has a full calendar of groups and activities that can be accessed at its website. These groups include social services such as food distribution, Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, and a Baptism Education class.

Members whose families have been attending for four generations worship alongside those who have recently moved to Half Moon Bay.</p> <p>The church holds many programs throughout the year. Every Tuesday and Wednesday the church co-hosts a community breakfast where people from all backgrounds get to know each other better. Everyone is welcome. It also has a garden on site maintained by the Catholic Worker staff on Kelly Avenue.</p> <p>Perhaps the church's most beautiful feature is behind it: a stone labyrinth adjacent to field of greens. The labyrinth is dedicated to Marilyn Bosshart, a woman who passed away in a motor vehicle accident along Devil's Slide in 2009.</p>
