Cecilia Alvarado, Neighbor

Cecilia Alvarado was born in Canton Los Chilamates, El Salvador and spent her youth living in her home town and the country's capital, San Salvador. Married with three children ranging in age from infant to teenager, she keeps busy by working as a nanny and volunteers at her children's schools. Among her many volunteer commitments, Cecilia has been a leader of Rayos de Luz (Sun Rays) at Cunha Intermediate School and organized the annual Cunha Fiesta fundraiser for many years. Though her 5 month old is keeping her very busy these days, she plans to return to her volunteer activities soon.
