Ninfa Patino, Neighbor

Ninfa Patino was born in Apaseo el Alto, Mexico, and is the second of seven children. As a single mother of a high school student she divides her time between her daughter, house cleaning business and an assortment of volunteer commitments. She has been instrumental in the development of Rayos de Luz (Rays of Light) at Cunha Middle School and has been a committed partner with the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) and Grad Night Committee at the High School. Ninfa is often asked to assist with translations from other organizations including the Cabrillo Unified School District, City of Half Moon Bay and an assortment of volunteer organizations. Through all of her commitments she still finds time to continue her education taking classes at the College of San Mateo. In her free time she enjoys reading, going to the gym and spending time with friends.
